New Jersey Online Casinos Set a $276.9 Million July Revenue Record

New Jersey online casinos and their casino partners generated $276.9 million in internet gaming win during July 2026, according to the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement. That was 12.0% above the $247.3 million reported in July 2025 and narrowly exceeded the state’s previous monthly high.

The seven-month total reached $1.87 billion, up 14.5% from $1.63 billion in the same period of 2025. The regulator separates internet gaming into other authorised games and peer-to-peer games: July produced approximately $274.4 million from the former and $2.55 million from the latter. Peer-to-peer win fell 6.2% year on year even while the overall online category grew.

New Jersey’s land-based casinos also had a strong month. The nine Atlantic City casino hotels recorded $304.2 million in casino win, 7.1% more than a year earlier and about $27.3 million above internet gaming win. That comparison does not show how much revenue ultimately remained with each casino because online brands can operate through market-access relationships with casino licensees.

Sports wagering gross revenue was $97.0 million, an increase of 29.7% from July 2025. The completed-events tables show a different but related measure: $816.9 million in handle and $101.8 million in win for events completed during July. The regulator notes that sports-wagering statistics are unaudited, may be adjusted and can differ from revenue totals because wagers on future events are treated differently.

Across casinos, internet gaming and sports wagering, total gaming revenue reached $678.1 million for July, up 11.9% year on year. Total gross revenue taxes were $92.2 million for the month. These figures measure operator win and tax collections, not customer deposits, the total amount wagered or player profit and loss.

For the industry, the result confirms that regulated online casino play remains a major part of New Jersey’s gambling market without displacing a strong summer month for Atlantic City casinos. It also shows why product categories should be assessed separately: casino games, peer-to-peer poker, retail casino play and sports wagering followed different growth patterns within the same headline total.

For players, record market revenue is not a recommendation to gamble and does not establish that every app visible in New Jersey is authorised. Before depositing, confirm the exact operator and internet-gaming brand through the Division of Gaming Enforcement, check that geolocation and identity requirements are clear, review withdrawal and complaint terms, and use deposit, time or self-exclusion controls where needed. Only gamble if aged 21 or over and physically located where the service is lawful.

Monthly revenue can move with seasonality, sporting results, promotions and operator mix, so one record does not guarantee the same rate of growth. The durable conclusion is narrower: New Jersey’s regulated internet gaming market set a new monthly high in July, while land-based casino win remained larger and all three reported segments grew from a year earlier.
